APWCA & USWR Webinar

Healthcare Payment Reform and the Wound Care Practitioner

The APWCA, in conjunction with the US Wound Registry (USWR), is offering a 4-part webinar series on “Healthcare Payment Reform and the Wound Care Practitioner”.  This educational opportunity will be led by Caroline Fife, MD, a practicing wound care physician and the Executive Director of the USWR.  Dr. Fife will provide insight and understanding into the current regulatory environment, what’s driving it, and how to not only survive, but how to thrive as a provider!

The series will explore the Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) and the complexities associated with its’ Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).  Dr. Fife will explain how quality reporting will need to be addressed going forward, the role Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDR) will play, and how providers can be successful by leveraging the use of registries.
