This one-hour webinar will review recent publications and data demonstrating beneficial outcomes in patients receiving cellular, acellular and matrix-like products (CAMPs), formerly known as skin substitutes and/or CTPs, in the treatment of chronic wounds, specifically highlighting the favorable impact in reducing complications in both lower extremity diabetic and venous leg ulcers, along with subsequent cost-effectiveness analyses when applying CAMPs by defined parameters for use and in conjunction with adequate debridement.

Dr. Kirsner is Chairman and the endowed Harvey Blank Professor in the Dr. Phillip Frost Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and Professor of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is Chief of Dermatology at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and Jackson Memorial Hospital and directs the University of Miami Hospital Wound Center. Dr. Kirsner serves in national leadership positions in both Wound Healing and Dermatology, including being Vice President of the American Academy of Dermatology and serving on the Wound Healing Society Board of Directors. Dr. Tettelbach is a certified wound specialist physician actively board-certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Internal Medicine while retaining academic appointments at Duke University School of Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for RestorixHealth and Onsite Advanced Care. One of his regulatory activities includes being a member of the CMS Advisory Panel on Hospital Outpatient Payment & Chair of the Data Sub-Committee.
